Internet: Decoding Love

From a culture where “I Love You” was almost out of anyone’s vocabulary to a fast-paced Internet culture where saying “I Love You” is as popular as a radio love song, the Internet generation is drowning in this overload of information and falling into the coded void. The anxiety of living in this fast-paced era is creating a meaningless and multi-layered language where sometimes the line separating our language from computer understandings starts vanishing due to the repetitiveness inherent to the fast-paced information we are surrounding ourselves with. We are committed to our devices and isolated in the meanings of ‘Being’ online.

This concept-driven site-specific installation is a culmination of independent works that brings a critique about how we are perceiving Love in the Internet Age and questions the importance of Intimacy within human nature.
